Acceleraate, the Manchester Zoom-first CX and AI transformation partner, has appointed Ryland Griffiths as chief customer officer.
Ryland brings decades of experience leading and transforming large-scale, global customer service operations, most recently at JD Sports, where he led customer experience at one of the world’s most recognised retail and sports fashion brands.
James Wilson, co-founder and COO, said: “Ryland isn’t just a great hire, he’;s someone we’ve known and respected for years. He was actually a customer of ours in a previous chapter, which tells you everything about why we wanted him on this side of the table. He’s seen what great CX transformation looks like from the inside, he knows what it takes to deliver at scale, and he cares deeply about getting it right for customers.”

As CCO, Ryland will lead Acceleraate’s customer success, account growth and client transformation practice, working directly with organisations across public sector, healthcare, retail, and enterprise to ensure they realise the full value of their Zoom CX investment.
Ben Jemison, co-founder and CTO said: “We build and deploy some genuinely impressive technology, but the real measure of success is whether it makes a difference for the people using it. Ryland is the person who makes sure it does. He understands the tech, he understands the customer, and he knows how to connect the two in a way that actually moves the needle.”
Ryland’s appointment comes at a significant moment for Acceleraate, which was the UK’s first Zoom CX Competency Partner, was named Zoom Contact Center EMEA Partner of the Year 2024 and Zoom Solution Deployment Excellence Partner 2025.
The business has grown rapidly across NHS, local government, and enterprise, and continues to expand its AI, integration and managed services capabilities for clients including Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, Oxfordshire County Council, Buckinghamshire Council, TalkTalk Business, and SharkNinja.
Newly appointed Griffiths added: “I’ve watched Acceleraate grow from the other side of the fence, and I’ve seen first-hand what they’re capable of. The technology is exceptional, but it’s the way they approach transformation – with real pace, and genuine care for the outcome – that sets them apart.”
