Space & Time creates first head of communications role with senior appointment

Growth marketing agency Space & Time has appointed Louisa Papachristou as its first head of communications.

The newly created role sees Papachristou report directly to managing director Heather Connearn as the agency brings its brand communications function in-house for the first time.

Papachristou brings more than 20 years of communications experience in the marketing services sector. She began her career at Pumpkin PR in 2005 before working at a number of PR agencies and in-house at agencies including TMW. In 2014, she launched her own boutique consultancy.

As head of communications, she will be responsible for developing and leading Space & Time’s communications strategy. The agency said the newly created role reflects its continued growth ambitions and will support the business as it continues to scale.

Chris Jones, CEO at Space & Time, said: “This last year alone, we’ve launched a new operating model, welcomed 20+ new clients and launched new capabilities and proprietary technologies, all designed to help our people and clients grow. As we continue to gain momentum and enter a new phase in our growth journey, it’s the ideal time to invest in our brand communications by bringing the resource in-house for the first time. This appointment is testament to where we are as a business and where we are heading. We’re delighted to welcome Louisa to the team.”

Papachristou added: “Space & Time has been building a business model and proposition that is perfectly structured to meet the needs of today’s brands. The agency has an exciting story to tell, and I feel privileged to be entrusted with communicating it. On top of that, the people are some of the nicest in adland. I’m excited for this new chapter.”
