Digital audio advertising platform audioadpro has moved into its new headquarters at Joseph’s Well, marking two years in business for the Leeds-based adtech company.
Founded by Roger Cutsforth and Michael Dobson and previously based in Wakefield’s Tileyard, audioadpro partners with ad agencies and advertisers to reach precision audiences across the entire digital audio ecosystem, delivering campaigns for brands in markets around the world from its new purpose-designed space.
The new HQ also carries particular significance for the business. The office space was previously occupied by Heart Radio and was formerly the sales office for legendary radio station Galaxy 105, latterly Capital Yorkshire, where audioadpro co-founder Roger Cutsforth worked as managing director some 20 years ago. Adjacent offices were also Galaxy 105 & Capital’s studios, where audioadpro’s office manager, Jan Tiffany, spent over 20 very happy years.
The relocation marks a full-circle moment for the team. In a space once used to broadcast radio right across the UK, audioadpro is now helping shape the campaigns and technology behind some of today’s digital audio advertising worldwide.
Co-founder Roger Cutsforth said: “I left Capital Radio and Joseph’s Well over a decade ago; for Jan it was a few years later, and for us both to return now, it feels like we’ve come home. There’s so much heritage in both music and radio here, which is not lost on the work we do at audioadpro. Galaxy 105/Capital was once the biggest radio station in the UK outside of London, and I still feel the enormous presence of Hirsty’s Daily Dose and all of our former colleagues and close friends as we embark on our exciting adventure to be the leading digital audio advertising platform in the world.”
Co-founder Dobson added: “This feels like our perfect ‘audio base’ for the team. It’s a really great environment that gives us the space to scale over the coming months and years. It feels right that it once was a force in the radio industry, and now is the UK HQ for audioadpro”
