First Internet, the award-winning digital marketing agency based in Manchester, has announced two new SEO executive additions to its growing team as it seeks to build on its recent rebrand and deliver stronger results for clients.
Maciej Kowalski brings a decade of hands-on SEO experience, having previously worked as a consultant before joining Dentsu. His client-side experience spans the tech and accounting sectors and he holds a Level 3 Digital Business Accelerator certification from Multiverse.
At First Internet, he will lead SEO strategy for clients and manage various technical, local and SEO tasks. Kowalski is well-versed in industry-standard tools, including GA4, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, and SEMRush.
Lakis Panagi has more than six years of SEO experience across technical SEO, on-page optimisation and digital PR. He has worked with well-known names such as H&M, Starbucks, the University of Manchester, Brother, and JCB.
Panagi has a strong track record in driving organic growth, improving online visibility and strengthening performance in generative search. In his new role, he will develop and implement SEO strategies, improve organic visibility for clients, identify growth opportunities and support wider digital marketing initiatives to deliver strong commercial results.
Julaine Speight, co-owner and marketing director at First Internet, said: “We’re building something here that’s about more than headcount. Every person we bring on board adds to what we can deliver for our clients. Maciej and Lakis join us with strong, practical experience and a real understanding of what it takes to move the needle in SEO. That’s exactly the kind of talent we want at First Internet as we continue to help clients outbuild, outrank and outperform their competitors.”
The agency’s recent rebrand, which was unveiled last month (April 2026) promised to be more than “just a new look,’ but rather “a reflection of what’s always set us apart: our knack for building digital worlds for businesses to thrive in. While some agencies promise the universe, focus too much on the latest shiny trends and fundamentally don’t deliver, our talented team crafts solid foundations – without the meaningless jargon.”
