Manchester-based insurtech Ripe has doubled its footprint with the opening of its new office at Stockport Exchange, upgrading from its existing 60-seat office in Wythenshawe to a much larger workspace that can accommodate 150 staff members.
The new site features 20 meeting rooms, enhanced collaboration spaces, upgraded technology, and rapid access to Stockport train station linking Ripe to Manchester City Centre in eight minutes and London in under two hours.
Ripe becomes part of an expanding network of prominent businesses at Stockport Exchange, a vibrant commercial centre that currently accommodates more than 2,000 professionals. This move reflects considerable confidence in Stockport’s rise as one of the North West’s most dynamic business districts.
Ripe is a specialist insurance provider with over 20 leisure, lifestyle and commercial products that promises to protect people’s passions – from cyclists to sailors, sports coaches to campervan enthusiasts and small business owners.

Its ethos is to offer digital solutions to make purchasing policies seamless, straightforward and hassle free. It currently serves more than 430,000 customers across the UK.
Founded in Manchester, Ripe has grown steadily over recent years, expanding its product offering and strengthening its technology capabilities. The new office aims to enable ongoing recruitment, keep local talent in the region, and support additional investment in the North West.
