The 1% Club has been sold into 15 territories, making it the best-selling UK format created in the last 8 years.
The quiz show was originally thought up by Andy Auerbach and Dean Nabarro at Magnum Media in 2022.
“From the beginning, The 1% Club was designed to be as inclusive as possible, so a 14 year old has as much chance of winning as a 40 year old.” explained Auerbach.
“Hitting 15 territories is a proud moment and reflects the format’s versatility and broad appeal. We’re thrilled to extend the brand even further through digital platforms and new markets.”
In the UK, where it’s hosted by Lee Mack and filmed at dock10 studios, it’s currently in season 5, and has just aired a special week-long rollover version, with more specials, including a kids one on the way.

FOX US has ordered a third series of the show, while Germany’s fourth season was the most popular quiz on Sat.1.
Newly announced deals are with Sweden and Italy. The Swedish version will air on SVT, produced by BBC Studios Sweden Productions. In Italy Blu Yazmine will produce for Mediaset.
The brand has also launched a digital extension on Smart TV platform, Game.City, with a Nintendo Switch version coming soon. In the UK, The Telegraph is publishing a daily game of The 1% Club for its subscribers.
“The 1% Club is a truly global success. A fantastically consistent ratings hit wherever it plays that entertains primetime audiences with its playful and highly engaging format,” said Matt Forde, President of BBC Studios Global Productions.
“Since launching in 2022, the show’s mix of wit, tension and mass appeal has helped it reach 15 territories, proving its power as a must-watch, multi-platform, entertainment quiz brand. We’re excited to be partnering with broadcasters in Sweden and Italy as the format continues to entertain viewers around the world.”
