Manchester creative agency Meanwhile, which has been working with Comic Relief since 2023, has spilled the beans on this year’s launch film, which dropped yesterday and was created in partnership with fellow North West production house Chief, describing the annual charity shindig as a “rollercoaster.”
James Cross, founder and CCO at Meanwhile said: “We’re so grateful to everyone at Comic Relief for placing their trust in us again this year, and we’ve collectively had real fun working with them on the rollercoaster that is making charity work! It’s been a real joy to collaborate with the charity and the BBC too, and we hope we’ve helped set them up to deliver another brilliant event.”

Jacqui Black, senior creative lead at Comic Relief, added: “We were really excited to work with Meanwhile on our Red Nose Day 26 brand film, one of the first times we’ve created a hero piece designed to live across digital and broadcast channels in collaboration with our partners at the BBC. From the outset, we had a clear creative ambition for the film, and Meanwhile and Chief were fantastic partners in helping us realise it.”
