Egg-Commerce as Adventoris completes Bird Brothers brief

Huddersfield tech firm, Adventoris, has launched a new ecommerce platform for egg producer, Bird Brothers.

The B2B platform has been created to help the family business modernise its trade ordering process and strengthen customer relations.

Built on the agency’s SwiftCloud platform, it enables customers from wholesale, retail and foodservice to browse products, check prices, place orders, and access account information.

The online portal replaces the previous manual ordering processing and phone-based systems.

“As our business continues to expand, we needed a more efficient and accessible way for trade customers to place and manage orders,” said Matthew Bird, director at Bird Brothers.

“Working with Adventoris has given us the technology and support to achieve that. Our customers now have a smoother, more reliable way to order from us, which is helping us strengthen relationships and streamline operations.”

Bird Brothers was founded in 1969 by twins Carl and Peter Bird, their sons now lead a business producing up to 5m fresh eggs every week. In the last 2 years they’ve invested millions of pounds in infrastructure and technology, including robotics, as part of a long-term expansion plan.

The B2B platform forms part of this.

“Bird Brothers is a great example of a forward-thinking British food business that recognises the value of digitisation. By adopting SwiftCloud, they’ve been able to simplify the ordering process, reduce admin time, improving the overall customer experience,” explained James Clarkson, CEO of Adventoris.

“It’s been fantastic to work with their team to deliver a solution that reflects their commitment to innovation and service. Seeing businesses like Bird Brothers unlock efficiency through technology is exactly what SwiftCloud was designed to do.”
