Joe Howick, the CEO of West Yorkshire tech firm, FOD Mobility Group, is to retire at the end of 2025.
Howick has been CEO since November 2023, he joined the Group’s board in 2019, as Chief Commercial Officer.
He will retire after 3 decades in the fleet industry, including senior roles at Zenith and Leasedrive Group.
He was COO of FleetEurope, when it was acquired by FOD Mobility in 2019.

“After three rewarding decades in the industry, I’ve decided that the end of this year is the right time for me to step back and focus on the next chapter,” he explained.
“It has been a privilege to lead the team at FOD Mobility Group and be a part of its continued success over the last six years. I’ve enjoyed working alongside talented colleagues and forging strong relationships and lasting friendships with our customers, partners and suppliers. I’m leaving the business in great shape, and with a strong leadership team in place, I know it has a fantastic future ahead of it.”
During his time as CEO, he’s been credited with leading the growth of its services and technology throughout the UK and Europe.
He’ll remain an investor in the business.
The tech firm is behind FleetonDemand, a global platform for businesses to book and manage short-term vehicle hire and pool fleet management.
