Lucky North has a new client after winning a competitive pitch for York-based Jorvik Tricycles’ PR contract.
The agency is working directly with Leeds-based Zeal on an integrated marketing strategy, encompassing direct-to-consumer events, social media, PR and more. Zeal has been partnered with Jorvik Tricycles for five years, supporting with a full digital marketing programme including PPC, SEO, social media and more.
Jorvik Tricycles was launched by Yorkshireman James Walker, who began designing tricycles for his father who struggled to keep up his cycling hobbies after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Walker is still at the helm of the business and plays a pivotal role in the design and manufacture of the bikes as well as all areas of customer service and business development.
Since inception Jorvik has gone from strength to strength, with an ever-growing portfolio of new products, from smaller city-friendly e-trikes to larger mountain trikes for tougher terrain.
Lucky North will be working directly with Zeal, bolstering the integrated marketing strategy with proactive PR and press office activity, driving forward brand communications to secure further sales for the business both with consumers and organisations, following an incredibly successful first decade of trading.
