Manchester-based Timetastic, the UK’s most-reviewed staff leave digital management platform, has launched Rota & Time Clock, a workforce scheduling and time-tracking solution that brings rotas, attendance, and annual leave management together into a single platform.
Rota & Time Clock is a separate HR platform from the existing Timetastic leave management application, giving businesses a dedicated solution for managing rotas, working hours and attendance alongside their existing leave management.
Following a successful customer validation project that attracted 378 businesses to the waiting list, Timetastic decided to bring the Rota & Time Clock to market.

The demand reflects the challenges many organisations face when managing rotas, attendance and annual leave across multiple systems. Timetastic’s own platform data illustrates the scale of the issue: Of more than 372,000 holidays booked through the platform in 2025, over 74,000 were cancelled and never taken.
Designed with ultimate efficiency in mind, the Rota and Clock software enables managers to create and publish rotas within minutes, instantly share updates with employees, and adapt quickly to sudden staffing changes.
A key highlight of the new feature set is the ability to handle last-minute gaps seamlessly. Managers can post open shifts directly within the platform, automatically notifying only qualified, available employees, reducing the need for frantic text chains or phone calls.
Employee availability and approved annual leave can also be viewed in real-time, completely eliminating scheduling conflicts. With the built-in Time Clock function, employees can easily clock in and out from their own devices. Hours worked are automatically matched against scheduled shifts to generate accurate, payroll-ready timesheets, eliminating manual data entry.
Alongside rota planning, the platform introduces professional workforce communication tools and manages staff leave, absences, scheduling, clocking in and out, and employee administration.
The launch also builds on Timetastic’s Burnout Board, a UK-registered trade mark that helps employers identify employees who may not be taking sufficient annual leave.
