Watch – Hollyoaks teases Brookside crossover in 30th Anniversary trailer

Lime Pictures and Channel 4 have released the trailer for Hollyoaks’ 30th anniversary episodes.

Channel 4 will also change the long-running soap’s transmission pattern next week, with episodes available to watch live at 7pm on E4 and stream on Channel 4 simultaneously.

The trailer teases how the crossover between Hollyoaks, Brookside and Hollyoaks Later will happen.

Executive producer Hannah Cheers said the storyline was “a love letter to both Hollyoaks and Brookside. Brookside gave birth to Hollyoaks – it grew up on the same site and eventually took over its sets.”

“But it is great that Lime Pictures are paying homage in their Hollyoaks anniversary crossover episodes. I can’t wait to see how all the gardens are coping in the heatwave, and who knows what might pop up if someone decides to re-lay their patio? I know we left something else down there.”
