SCS Technologies, a Cheshire provider of turnkey comms solutions across a range of commercial sectors, is joining Airwave Europe having been sold to its parent company, Essex-based SCCI Group, for an undisclosed sum.

Combined with Airwave Europe’s leadership in guest entertainment systems, content management, AV, and network design and support, the collaboration establishes a genuine end-to-end capability – from design and installation through to connectivity, content and long-term support.
The combination of deep technical expertise, stronger national reach and a shared ambition to design, deliver and support exceptional guest experiences across the UK enables hospitality operators to deliver more ambitious projects with a partner that can scale alongside them.
“This brings together two businesses that share the same values around quality, reliability and customer care,” said Mike Jeffery, CEO of SCS Technologies. “Our customers gain access to broader expertise and greater resource, while continuing to work with the same team they trust.”
Based in Billingshurst, West Sussex, Airwave is Europe’s leading supplier, installer and integrator of digital television and audio-visual equipment. The company has installed over 450,000 screens and networks within 7,500 hotels, hospitals and commercial buildings to date.
David Fogelman, CEO of SCCI Group, commented: “This is an exciting step forward for our customers. By bringing SCS Technologies into the group, we are investing in growth, innovation and service capability.
“It strengthens our ability to respond quickly, deliver at scale and create exceptional experiences across every project.”
Saira Mirza, general counsel of SCCI Group, added: “This acquisition aligns with SCCI Group’s long-term strategy of operational excellence, enabling us to offer more integrated solutions and achieve greater efficiencies across our group, ultimately benefiting our customers.”
