Applied Nutrition is adding Swizzels Love Hearts flavour to its BodyFuel Electrolyte and Vitamin Water range.

The leading Liverpool sports nutrition brand is teaming up with one of the UK’s most-loved sweet treats under the strapline: “Indulge in Sweet Nostalgia: Quench Your Thirst with Our New Flavour of BodyFuel, Infused with the Beloved Flavours of Love Hearts Sweets!”

The new flavour builds on Applied Nutrition’s long-term exclusive partnership with Swizzels Sweets, which is HQd at the appropriately named Candy Lane in Macclesfield. The latest flavour joins the previously launched Swizzels tie-in, Drumstick Lolly flavour, the popular Paddy Punch collab with UFC fighter Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett, and a range of more traditonal options.

BodyFuel has been a huge success story for Applied Nutrition, with the company selling over seven million units since its launch in December 2022 and already securing listings with several wholesalers and national retailer B&M. Applied Nutrition develops sports and active nutrition products from its manufacturing and distribution centre in Liverpool and sells globally in more than 65 countries.

The company has also opened its first international division in Dallas, Texas and picked up SME Brand of the Year at The Grocer Gold Awards, as well as landing a spot in the Sunday Times Top 100 Fastest Growing Businesses.
