twentysix’s search launches London division

The Leeds digital agency twentysix has appointed Jon Harper to spearhead growth and development of a new search marketing division in the capital.

Harper, originally from Yorkshire, joins from London based 4Ps Marketing, prior to that he spent two years at Leeds based search agency Search Labs. He will take the role of account director, overseeing the growth and development of existing relationships as well as supporting a continued push for new clients.

The team will be based out of Tottenham Court Road, sharing the offices of The Gate Worldwide who also sits within the MSQ Partners group of companies.

twentysix’s search division has seen significant growth over the last 12 months, growing by 65% in fee based income and adding ten new team members.

The company says this coincided with significant client wins such Superbreak, Direct Golf and the London based Crabtree & Evelyn and Fortnum & Mason.

In addition twentysix has also promoted Jonathan Argile to Head of Search Operations and Tom Sykes to Head of Search Strategy. The pair will work together to drive the next phase of growth, focusing on innovation and strategy development for twentysix search clients.

Search MD Ryan Scott said: “We have experienced significant growth and development of over the last 18 months including new clients, new staff and award nominations – this is an exciting time for the business and this move allows us to better service our London clients, whilst also giving opportunity to grow our presence across the south.”

The appointments mean twentysix is now a team of 125 digital specialists in a company with a turnover of £8m+ in 2014/5.
