Channel 5 has ordered a second and third series of Shop Smart Save Money, which is produced by True North in Leeds.
Presented by Gaby Roslin and Fiona Phillips, the two 8x60minute runs will be filmed at The Broadway Centre in Bradford.
“I’m delighted that Shop Smart Save Money has been recommissioned for a further two series. The programme hit the ground running and filled a gap for a topical consumer show which was a real treat for our viewers,” said Daniel Pearl Channel 5 commissioner.
Joining the presenters each week in the studio will be “Deal Detective” Andy Webb. Alexis Conran will also be on hand to uncover the best and worst value products on the market.
“Making a topical, weekly show brings a brand-new energy to the True North production office in Leeds so we are delighted that Channel 5 has got behind the Shop Smart brand so whole-heartedly with such a substantial commission,” added Jess Fowle, creative director, True North.
The first series aired on Channel 5 in June, with 3 episodes airing on Wednesdays at 8pm.
