Timeline TV North commits to MediaCityUK for another five years

Timeline Television North has committed its future to MediaCityUK with the renewal of its five-year lease.

The company was the first independent post production and broadcast facility in MediaCityUK when it opened in 2012.

The state-of-the-art facility includes six Avid Media Composer/Adobe Premiere/FCP Offline suites, two Avid Online Suites and a DaVinci Grading Theatre.

It has also developed cloud-based editing solutions with Avid and Adobe enabling clients.

Based on the 17th floor of Blue Tower, the facility includes full edit support staff, post producers, live transmission specialists and dubbing mixers.

Paul Tovee, who was appointed head of Timeline TV North in February, said: “We have invested heavily in our facilities and have the experience to deliver creative post production for a variety of genres including drama, children’s programming and documentaries.

“Timeline Television has the full breadth of expertise and technical infrastructure to capture, create, edit and deliver programmes. We believe that the nature of post-production is changing and with Timeline Television’s unique spread of knowledge across a huge range of workflows and technologies, are fully capable, delivering to clients at the highest level of virtually any project, from the supremely creative to the utmost technical.”

Recent post-production work completed by Timeline TV North includes Alan Shearer’s Euro 96: When Football Came Home (BBC Sport), The Durrells (ITV) and BBC Music Day 2016 (BBC).
