“As the political landscape continues to change at pace, it’s a privilege to bridge audiences in Scotland both with events at Westminster and ahead of the Scottish parliament election. STV News’ brilliant team of journalists are responsible for Scotland’s most-watched news programme and growing digital service, and I look forward to working with them to continue building on that success.
Linda Grimes Douglas, STV’s Head of News and Current Affairs added:
“We’re delighted that Lucy joins the team in the new year. It’s critical that we have a well-connected and tenacious correspondent on the ground bringing viewers in Scotland all the important news from Westminster and how it impacts them, and Lucy fits the bill perfectly. As we reposition our newsroom for a future across multiple platforms, Lucy brings a skillset which will help bring STV’s political coverage to a wider audience.”
