KM Capital, the Manchester-based fund led by PrettyLittleThing co-founder Adam Kamani and former Zoopla and Betfair CFO Stephen Morana, has invested in two new businesses.

The first is a co-investment in Dash Water with the founders of Charles Tyrwhitt and Bulldog Skincare as part of a £1.6m financing round.

Founded in 2017, the company produces a range of sparkling water products which utilise surplus fruit and vegetables that would usually go to waste to create sugar- and calorie-free soft drinks. It has 5,000 retail listings including Boots, Sainsbury’s and Ocado.

The second investment is with Travel Curious, which creates bespoke cultural tours and experiences through its technology platform.

It has recently signed deals with international hotel groups, online travel agencies and is now expanding into the travel technology platforms.

Kamani (pictured) said: “We are excited to support Dash and Travel Curious and hope to help them accelerate to the next level. We felt both fit perfectly with our investment strategy and we will work hard to share our experience with them.

“We hope to identify similar founders in 2020 to build on our existing portfolio of investments.”
