Manchester’s Gooey has hit the £1m turnover barrier as it marks its 10th birthday.

The white label digital development agency, which specialises in WordPress, Magento and email developer projects for a range of agency partners, now boasts a team of 17 having worked on over 4,500 websites in a decade.

Last year also saw significant changes at the agency, with James Holloway buying out co-founder Dominic Hill in a six-figure deal.

Since then, Sean Thornley has been promoted to head of partnerships, and Iain Thomson and Kishan Kotecha have been brought in to head up the project and account management aspects of the business.

Holloway said: “We’ve grown year on year since we started in 2009 and our 10th year has been a record breaking with us hitting the £1m turnover barrier.

“We’re delighted with this, as it’s made us the number one outsourced developer partner in the UK. Our new culture and strategies are paying dividends. Here’s to the next 10 years!”
