Entrepreneur Volker Hirsch is joining global technology investor, Amadeus Capital.

Cheshire-based Hirsch is currently co-founder of mobile development house, Blue Beck, as well as a venture partner at Emerge Education and a co-founder of Tech North Advocates.

He joins the firm’s team of early stage venture capital investors and will be based in Manchester.

He’s a specialist in AI, machine learning, human-machine interfaces, enterprise SaaS, autonomous systems, digital health and medical technologies.

“Volker’s extensive networks will give Amadeus a great competitive edge,” stated Anne Glover, CEO, Amadeus Capital Partners.

“[His] work as a tech advocate in the North of England also brings us closer to the compelling innovations occurring in that region.”

Since 1997, Amadeus Capital Partners has raised over $1bn for investment and used it to back more than 130 companies.
