Tatton Estate makes key appointment to growing filming division

Abbie Morrow

Cheshire’s Tatton Estate has appointed a new TV, Film and Events Co-ordinator as the growth of its filming division continues.

Abbie Morrow will work on the growing number of film and television projects being hosted across the Tatton Estate under the management of production locations business TEM Property Group.

In the last year projects have included Fox Searchlight’s Tolkien biopic, the new Netflix/Canal+ series Safe, and BBC TV hits Peaky Blinders and The Worst Witch. In addition, a growing number of corporate videos and TV advertisements have been secured by the company.

Morrow started her career as a theatre intern at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, working her way to becoming a production co-ordinator on more than 20 West End and UK tour productions.

She said: “It’s a very exciting time for Tatton Locations and I am looking forward to helping build it further and promoting the impressive range of locations and facilities we have available for use and also helping to make Cheshire ‘Manchester’s Back-Lot.’

“So far my career has meant that I’ve been lucky enough to work on some amazing projects and alongside some incredible talent, such as Christian Slater, Juliet Stevenson and Jesse Eisenberg, but being able to work in an industry such as this, in the beautiful Cheshire countryside, really is a dream come true.”

Tatton Estate offers a range of film, television and events locations and is able to provide unique and attractive settings across Cheshire and south Manchester. Tatton Locations has more than 50 acres with up to 300 extra acres available if needed, two studios/ build spaces, a broadcast standard 3,197 sq m green screen, on-site location supply company, production offices and an open grass area for helicopter landings.
