STV Studios lands bumper Warner Bros Discovery Auction House order

STV Studios has landed a bumper Auction House order from Warner Bros Discovery, totalling around 40 hours.

The successful Auction House franchise is to expand with brand new The Derbyshire Auction House, a 10×60-minute series for Really. In the latest riff on the theme, viewers will meet Irita Marriott as she builds her auction business, Britain’s newest auction house, in South Derbyshire.

The Auction House, which is also produced by STV Studios, will be returning for a fifth series later this year. S5 will follow auctioneer Angus Ashworth as he travels across the UK clearing homes of unique treasures over 23×60-minute episodes.

Keeping firmly in auction space, a fourth series of Celebrity Yorkshire Auction House has also been ordered for a further seven episodes on Really, with Ashworth rooting through celebrity cupboards for forgotten heirlooms and auctioning off the spoils.

All of the series were ordered by Clare Laycock and commissioned by Charlotte Reid. Reid said: “The brand-new The French Antiques River Cruise series coming to Quest adds to our existing lineup of antique and salvage titles, so too does a bumper line-up of the Auction House format with the fifth season of the Yorkshire Auction House, the third season of Celebrity Yorkshire Auction House and the new spin-off series The Derbyshire Auction House.”
