Artist-led audio streamer SoundCloud is joining the creative community at Tileyard North, with a dedicated space hosted within 2-Work @ Tileyard North.
Founded in 2007, SoundCloud is a global platform empowering artists to build and grow their careers by providing them with the most progressive tools, services, and resources. The site hosts over 375m tracks from 40m artists.
Tileyard North opened in 2023 with plans to become the UK’s largest creative community outside London. 2-Work’s flexspace offering wasn’t far behind, opening in December 2023 to provide a community-focused environment where collaboration and innovation can thrive.
Nick Keynes, co-founder of Tileyard, said: “With SoundCloud already embedded into the Tileyard London ecosystem as a long standing resident, we are delighted to now extend that welcome into our Tileyard North community. SoundCloud’s move into our Wakefield campus is an exciting one for Tileyard and is further testament to our aligned values and aspiration to offer our respective services to the many creative communities in the North of England.”
Natalie Pucher, Regional Manager for 2-Work added: “We’re delighted to welcome SoundCloud to 2-Work at Tileyard North. Their decision to join us, just four months after our launch, not only signifies a milestone for our coworking space but also highlights the potential the space has to offer.”
