The Insights Family appoints chief growth officer in final move of executive shake up

The Insights Family, the global leader in kids, teens, parents, and family market intelligence, has appointed Tom Williams to chief growth officer.

Williams was co-founder and chief revenue officer of Voxpopme and is an SaaS scale up expert. He brings significant experience to his new role and played an instrumental role in Voxpopme’s global growth. He will now lead TIF’s new commercial strategy.

The latest hire is the final stage of transforming the company’s executive team to lead the business through its next stage of growth. It will also see Clive Maudsley transition into the role of chief operating officer and founder Nick Richardson transition to chief strategy officer following the appointment of Rachel Bardill as SVP Marketing and Partnerships.

Founder Richardson said: “I met Tom in April 2021, and have got to know him well, and am pleased that he shared my vision for the future of the business and most importantly has the experience and skills to transform our business into a global operation. Over the last 5 years we have transitioned from a start-up to a scale-up, and now we need to evolve into a high performance, fast-growth organisation which further establishes itself as the global leader through international expansion.”

Newly appointed Williams added: “When conversations moved to joining The Insight Family journey, there was only going to be one answer. What Nick and the team have built so far is adding great value to an ever-growing global client base. I look forward to working with the team here to develop our next growth strategies, and to contribute to achieving the company’s strategy of transforming how organisations leverage research, data and insights.”

The company has also announced promotions for Tanya Sarakinis, who is promoted from commercial director to SVP business development and George Sarakinis, who becomes SVP client growth, having previously held the role of client strategy director.

The Insights Family is a global leader in kids, teens, parents, and family market intelligence. It surveys around 21,000 kids and 10,500 parents per year in more than 20 countries on every continent.

Clients include Amazon, BBC, Danone, Disney, Initiative, Kraft, LEGO, Mattel, MediaCom, PBS, Paramount, Pokémon, SEGA, T-Mobile and Warner Bros.
