Internet and connectivity provider ASK4 has invested in Utopi, the Hamilton-based data integration platform it struck a partnership with in 2021.

Utopi helps investors, building developers, and operators improve their ESG and building performance through smart sensor tech, and will help ASK4 clients streamline installation processes and save costs.

ASK4, which is headquartered in Sheffield and also operates a European HQ in Madrid, provides building-wide networks and specialises in multi-tenant living.

Andrew Dutton, CEO of ASK4, said: “The technology Utopi is delivering will be fundamental to the operational and financial success of the clients we serve, and we are delighted to be investing in the company’s future.

“The partnership we have established does and will continue to drive real value for a host of stakeholders within multi-tenant real estate.”

Jonathan Burridge, CEO of Utopi, added: “ASK4 has been a key supporting partner for some time, and we are very glad to have formalised the relationship in this way. There is a lot we will be able to do together for the benefit of our customers and we are looking forward to the next phase.”

In March, ASK4 announced the appointment of a new CTO and Product Director.
