Salesfire appoints senior hires with key promotions across the board

SaaS company Salesfire has announced it has appointed six new directors as part of the company’s expansion plans.

Five of the six appointments are a result of international promotions within the AI-driven ecommerce software company.

Charlie Gibson has been promoted from Head of Operations to Chief Operating Officer, Josh McGregor has been promoted from Head of Marketing to Chief Marketing Officer, and Elliot Lings has been promoted from Head of Product to Chief Technology Officer.

In addition, James Lees has been promoted from Head of Client Services to Chief Customer Officer and Stephen Honor takes up a promotion from Head of Technology to Chief Information Officer.

Martin Walker joins the team as Chief Sales Officer, having previously held the role of Sales Director at Visualsoft.

The new roles and promotions have been established to further accelerate the company’s growth plans in 2022. The new board members will play a critical role in the company’s expansion, with plans to double its headcount in the next 12 months and to reach more than £10m turnover in the next three years.

CEO, Rich Himsworth said: “We recognise the potential of how far we can take the growth of Salesfire, so appointing a board of directors gears us up to take things to the next level.”

“Our new directors have extensive experience in the eCommerce industry, with knowledge of SaaS offerings and customers’ needs. This move will set the precedent for Salesfire’s teams, with good leaders in place, the team will be in the best position to reach new heights.”
