“Reframing how the world sees mobility scooters” – Supersmith hires Down At The Social

Tech firm, Supersmith, has appointed Down At The Social to handle its PR and social media.

The Manchester agency will focus on the launch of its 3Scooter mobility technology.

It will work alongside company founders to grow brand awareness across national, local and trade media, as well as its digital channels.

Supersmith has a network of ambassadors who’ve been involved in the design of the 3Scooter, who’ll all form part of the content, illustrating the everyday challenges faced by mobility scooter users.

“This partnership is about far more than coverage – it’s about changing perceptions,” said Tom Morgan, Co-Founder of Supersmith.

“We’re working with Down At The Social to tell our story on a national stage, reframe how the world sees mobility scooters, and use digital-first, impactful PR to drive real change.”

DATS will handle the firm’s press office function, media relations, thought leadership and reactive commentary. It will also tell the story of the founders and why they were inspired to improve mobility scooter technology.

“Supersmith is one of those businesses that inspire us so much; combining groundbreaking technology alongside a purpose-led back story,” explained Daisy Whitehouse, Managing Director at DATS.

“Their desire to develop a whole new way of looking at mobility scooters is going to not just change lives, but also turn heads, and it’s this powerful combination that will build credibility, visibility and long-term impact for their brand.”
