Reach has recruited Andy Williams as its first Business Director for Scotland.
Williams takes up the newly created role having spent 15 years at DC Thomson as Head of Sales, Head of Advertising and most recently, Chief Revenue Officer.
“I am relishing the chance to meet so many talented colleagues and have the opportunity to help shape the next chapter for Reach in Scotland,” he said.
“Whether that is supporting our teams, strengthening client partnerships, delivering the growth strategy, or making a positive impact in the communities we serve.”
He’ll lead all commercial operations in the country, across client direct and agency, reporting into Howard Parker, Agency Sales Director for the UK regions.

The publisher said it was the first time that it had ever had a “fully joined up link” between its direct teams and full agency teams in Scotland.
“I’m delighted Andy is joining us to stand over commercial activity in Scotland. We worked together for a number of years as part of the strategic partnership between Reach and DC Thomson so for us to have such an experienced senior exec lead our Scotland commercial teams is a fantastic opportunity,” said Parker.
“His vast experience will be a huge asset to Reach’s Scottish team, enabling the teams to deliver on our commercial growth plans and produce great work for our broad base of existing and new customer. It also shows an important investment into our growth plans for Reach north of the border.”
