After launching a new GRAFT Regional Champions initiative to explore the regional tech ecosystems powering economic growth across the North, Prolific North is now turning its attention to the Liverpool City Region.
The GRAFT Regional Champions programme shines a spotlight on the people, businesses, infrastructure and innovations driving each region’s tech economy, and first kicked off with a focus on Greater Manchester last month.
Backed by accountancy firm MHA, the initiative focused on Liverpool City Region will feature a deep-dive editorial series throughout 2026 examining the state of region’s tech landscape.
The coverage will explore everything from areas of tech growth and emerging clusters to the evolution of start-ups into scale-ups, alongside the current funding environment.
An invite-only roundtable will also take place in the coming months, bringing together tech leaders, advisers and ecosystem builders to discuss Liverpool City Region’s biggest opportunities and most pressing challenges when it comes to tech.
Andrew Matthews, Partner at MHA, said: “Liverpool has become a thriving tech hub, covering everything from the latest startups through to the most recognised international names, with even more to come. We are delighted to be in the heart of the city, being trusted advisor to many of these exciting businesses.”
Prolific North will be unveiling further regional tech spotlights as the GRAFT Regional Champions programme continues to explore tech ecosystems across the North.
And if you’re interested in tech, Prolific North has recently launched a dedicated weekly tech newsletter, GRAFT, which you can sign up for here.
