Kuntsford-based Prime Global has received an undisclosed investment from California-based private equity firm, Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP).

Prime Global operates agencies Core, Onyx, Paragon, Prime, Scion, Spark and Cambridge – which it acquired in May 2020. The medical communications company also runs four consultancies – IRIS, Prime Access, Only Oncology, and Prime Omics – and has creative, strategy and digital teams of its own.

Its offices are found in Knutsford, Macclesfield, London, Brighton, Oxford and Cambridge, plus New York and San Francisco, as well as satellite offices in San Diego, Germany, and New Zealand.

LLCP – a middle-market private equity firm with offices worldwide – has backed the company for an undisclosed sum, which will be used to boost Prime’s service offering.

Chief Executive & MD, Graeme Peterson (pictured), said: “Prime Global is committed to helping our clients transform global health and patient outcomes, now and for future generations.

“We were looking for a partner to share this vision and match our people-first culture, and we’ve found that in LLCP.

“Their expertise and investment will allow us to develop additional capabilities, platforms, and tools to deliver more value for our people, clients, and ultimately, patients.”

John O’Neill, Head of Europe at LLCP, added: “We are thrilled to partner with Prime Global and look forward to supporting their continued success.

“With Prime Global’s strong leadership, ambitious strategic growth plans, and great market position, the future looks exciting.”
