Legendary graphic designer Peter Saville is to take part in a question and answer session at Manchester Town Hall tomorrow.

Saville joins an impressive bill that includes Mark Farrow, Kate Moross, Colophon Foundry, Andrew Shoben, Nat Hunter and Mark Shayler hosted by the Manchester School of Art’s Dean, Professor David Crow.

The event is part of Design Manchester 13, a week-long festival launched this week at Band on the Wall with OWT Creative’s Discourse 2, featuring illustration collective Le Gun, Poke’s Alex Zamora and Intern Magazine’s Alec Dudson.

The festival, curated with ambassador Malcolm Garrett, working closely with lead sponsor the Manchester School of Art, part of Manchester Metropolitan University, is a series of inspirational talks, interactive workshops and evening events, on the theme of longevity.

In response to the festival’s theme of longevity, Northern Quarter based production company Daylight has produced this short film entitled: ‘Long Live Manchester’.
