Outdo lands Leeds council deal to run more than 2,000 ad sites across city

A West Yorkshire outdoor media firm says it has become the largest operator of advertising sites in Leeds after securing a major contract with Leeds City Council.

Outdo said the deal means it now operates more than 2,000 sites across the city, spanning lamppost banners, roundabout sponsorship and lightboxes. The network includes locations across key routes and high-footfall areas such as The Headrow, Briggate and Boar Lane, as well as a digital screen in the Elland Road area.

Outdo added that its footprint extends beyond the city centre to locations including Leeds Bradford Airport, Headingley, Otley and Wetherby, positioning the network as a regional offer for advertisers.

The Leeds contract forms part of wider growth for the business, which said it now operates more than 33,000 sites nationwide.

According to the company, the agreement strengthens its Yorkshire presence, adding to existing contracts across North Yorkshire, Kirklees, Wakefield, Barnsley and Calderdale. It also follows a series of recent wins in other parts of the UK, including Wales, Scotland, Cornwall and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Mike Brennan, CEO at Outdo, said: “Leeds is a hugely important city for us, and as a West Yorkshire-based business, it’s particularly meaningful to strengthen our presence here. On a personal note, as a long-standing Leeds fan, having our sites live around Elland Road is definitely a highlight.

“This scale allows us to offer advertisers real, city-wide coverage, and we’re looking forward to continuing to develop the network and helping brands reach audiences across Leeds.”

Outdo said it is already working with clients including White Rose Shopping Centre, Opera North and Leeds Arts University.
