North West firm targets “invisible ” SMEs with £50 bespoke website scheme

A North West business is taking on what it calls the UK’s “invisible million” – the small companies still running without a website in 2026.

According to recent figures, 22 percent of UK small businesses have no online presence at all. That is over a million companies absent from the place where 88 percent of UK consumers start every buying decision and 75 percent decide whether a company is credible.

Digital Market Stall, launched by Manchester HQ’d Noah Resources, will design, build, host and manage a fully bespoke website for 250 UK SMBs at a flat £50 a month, covering everything. As of launch, 187 of the 250 spots remain available.

“This is not a template farm and it is not a page builder,” said Michael Johnson, founder of Noah Resources. “Every site is built from a blank canvas by a qualified designer. We took a long look at how much UK small businesses are quoted for a half-decent website, three to five thousand pounds in many cases, and decided the model was broken. So we rebuilt it.”

What is included for £50 a month:

  • A bespoke website designed from scratch, not a template
  • A free domain, registered and renewed for as long as the client stays on the plan
  • Fast UK hosting
  • SSL certificate, daily backups, security and software updates
  • Ongoing changes, edits and updates handled by the design team

The business has set a hard cap of 250 clients to protect quality. Each website is briefed via a ten-minute online form, designed by a real designer, and delivered within seven days. Clients review the finished website, request unlimited revisions, and only begin paying once they sign it off.

“We could take a thousand clients and run a sausage factory with juniors and templates,” Johnson added. “We would rather take 250 and make every single business genuinely proud of what they put out there. When someone Googles a local plumber or a high street salon and sees the website we have built for them, they should want to pick up the phone.”

The offer is open to UK businesses of any size and sector while spots remain. Full details and the brief form are available at digitalmarketstall.com.
