A Northern agency leader is stepping into the consultancy world with the launch of a new fractional offering aimed at agencies grappling with industry-wide disruption.
Ella Bransfield, a Director at Trunk, is launching Ella Rosies positioning it as a hands-on consultancy for agencies looking to scale, restructure or rethink their operating models.
After 17 years working across independent and network agencies including IMA, Havas Lynx and Havas Media, Manchester-based Ella said the move reflects a broader shift in the agency landscape.
“The agency rulebook has changed,” she said. “AI is reshaping delivery, clients are exploring in-housing models, and the traditional agency operating models are under real pressure. Agencies need to respond, and fast.”
Ella Rosies will operate as a fractional consultancy, working with agency leadership teams to “lead, implement and embed change” across three core areas – client services, operating models and purpose-led transformation.
Ella said her approach is deliberately hands-on, rather than advisory.
“This isn’t advisory from the sidelines,” she said. “It’s hands-on leadership and delivery.”
The consultancy will support agencies in turning client services into a stronger commercial engine, building future proof operaring models, including AI integration and leaner structures, and embedding ESG and B Corp principles into day-to-day operations.
The launch comes at a time of significant change for the sector, with agencies facing pressure from AI-driven efficiencies, shifting client expectations and increasing competition from in-house teams.
Ella believes that many agencies are reaching a tipping point.
“Ella Rosies exists for agencies in transition,” she said. “Feeling that ‘where do we go from here’ moment. Bringing senior leadership into agencies to turn ambition into action.”
During her agency career, Ella has led multidisciplinary teams and overseen portfolios of more than 20 clients across sectors including healthcare, FMCG and financial services. Her client experience includes work with brands such as GE Healthcare, GSK, Adidas, Waitrose and NSPCC.
At Trunk, she has held a number of senior roles spanning strategy, innovation and client services, including leading AI integration, workflow optimisation and ESG initiatives, as well as helping to drive improvements in commercial performance and client experience.
Ella Rosies is set to officially launch in May 2026.
