Convenience retail group SPAR has appointed Preston-based agency MTJ PR to work on the launch of its own label vegan wine range in the UK.
SPAR selected the agency to develop a B2C communications strategy and drive consumer awareness in the run up to, and during, January’s ‘Veganuary’ month. The retailer said it is the first grocer to ensure its own label wine range is 100% vegan friendly.
The agency will manage the B2C communications for the campaign as well as influencer activity and broadcast opportunities.
Client Services Director, Claire Murgatroyd, said: “It’s already been great fun working with the team at SPAR on announcing that their wine range is 100% vegan friendly. We naturally had to do a few taste tests to ensure that we knew the product inside out, and we’re sure it will be a hit with shoppers.”
