Disney+ has confirmed that Noel Gallagher will be featuring in new documentary series, Camden.
He joins an already impressive musical line-up, including Little Simz, Yungblud, Questlove, The Libertines, Mark Ronson, Nile Rodgers, Boy George, Suggs, Black Eyed Peas, Jazzie B, Chuck D, Lauren Laverne and Sister Bliss. And Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
Made by Lightbox, it reveals the untold stories of how the lives and careers of iconic artists were influenced by this corner of London. Clearly Manchester and King Tuts in Glasgow could argue for having quite a big say in Gallagher’s career.
Through archive footage, observational filming and interviews, it will explore Camden’s history. Hearing from world renowned musicians as they relive their Camden experiences, from their very first gigs to sell out concerts, the highs & lows of nights out and a youth spent discovering music.
Lightbox was founded by Academy-Award-winning producer Simon Chinn and Emmy-winning producer Jonathan Chinn in association with Day One Pictures, the production company co-founded by Amy Winehouse’s original manager Nick Shymansky and Radical22.
Asif Kapadia is Series Director, with Episode directors Toby Trackman, Yemi Bamiro and Sarah Lambert.
