Nine Lives Media in Manchester has been commissioned by Channel 5 to produce a docu-drama about the Fred and Rose West murders.
It’s slated for TX this Spring to mark the 25th anniversary of the crimes being discovered.
The 3 x 60 minute series has been produced and directed by Robin Anderson. Cat Lewis will be the executive producer.
Lewis confirmed to Prolific North that they had cast “excellent” actors from Manchester to appear in the production.
Meanwhile Channel 5 has also commissioned a documentary about Harold Shipman.
Harold Shipman: 10 Years On will be made by Crackit/Group M Entertainment. The 2 x 60 minute series will explore how Shipman managed to evade the police for so many years.
