Mosquito has been working closely with Arm to build a new browser-based tool for high-performance computing.
Arm Code Advisor has been designed to provide an integrated workflow for code analysis and improvement.
It enables super computing systems to review code and provide actionable advice by allowing the user to see how to increase performance and efficiencies in each line of code.
Manchester’s Mosquito worked across software design, workshops and UI and UX testing.
“Code Advisor demonstrates how Arm can provide feature-rich tools and support to the HPC community. By indicating code enhancements and actionable improvement advice,” explained Anthony Diver, managing & creative director of Mosquito.
“The tool integrates directly into the code and signposts directly inline of the code. Mosquito’s UX, UI and deep technical skills were a direct extension to help Arm deliver such a high-quality product.”
Arm is based in Cambridge and Manchester.
“We are building a strong product development presence in Manchester as I believe it is a major digital-first city. Partnering with Mosquito allowed us to rapidly form a complementary team to develop a high-quality product embracing both our shared technical and creative expertise,” added Ross Keeping, senior director of engineering infrastructure & HPC tools.
