Harrogate’s Mixd has produced, what it says is, one of the first mobile-friendly websites for an NHS Trust.

nlag_responsiveThe website, for Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, was produced following consultation with patients, who said what they wanted from the site and how they’d use it.

“We wanted to create a site that was quick and simple to navigate so patients could find the information they needed as fast as possible. We are confident this will be a useful resource for our local communities,” said Sarah Mainprize, head of communications and marketing at the Trust.

It includes information about visiting times, infection rates and quality indicators and will work across all platforms, resizing to match the screen size.

“With mobile web usage overtaking desktop it is vitally important that NHS Trusts have a site that works across all devices. We have a lot of experience in building user friendly, accessible and compliant websites and we are really pleased with the outcome of this project,” added Mike Danford, creative director of Mixd.

The Trust manages the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole & District Hospital.
