MediaCity appoints Colliers to property agent roster

MediaCity, home to some of the world’s most exciting media, creative, and tech brands, has appointed Colliers to its roster of agents tasked with filling its workspaces.

Colliers will join CBRE and Canning O’Neill in finding suitable occupiers for MediaCity’s Orange, Blue, White, and Tomorrow buildings, as well as future developments as part of the area’s next phase of growth and development.

While a global organisation, Colliers is one of the most experienced commercial property agents in Manchester, with an 85-strong team providing a comprehensive range of commercial real estate advisory services across the Northwest who leased more than 300,000 sq. ft of office space last year.

Colliers already has a successful track record with leasing at MediaCity having advised law firm Horwich Farrelly over its 500-person company takeover of the 11th floor of the Orange building.

Stephen Kirk, head of asset management for MediaCity, said: “From the off, Colliers have got stuck in. They have great belief in the MediaCity development and its occupier growth potential as we enter the next phase of expansion. We’re delighted to bring them into the fold and are very excited for what they’re undoubtedly going to deliver.”

Dominic Pozzoni, Ddirector and head of Manchester office at Colliers, added: “MediaCity has created a phenomenal, well-established mixed-use development that has attracted both UK and International occupiers, and we are honoured and privileged to be involved with the operation.

“Manchester remains the largest and fastest growing economy outside of London and is considered to provide a world class offer for a wide array of sectors, with many businesses making the move to the city. Given MediaCity is due to increase in size over the next decade it is perfectly placed to capitalise on this trend, and Colliers is extremely well placed to support the team on this journey.”
