Masterchef star and Cameron House Hotel and Resorts head chef Rohan Wadke is teaming up with kitchen appliance brand Miele a the Edinburgh Fringe for a culinary extravaganza at the Miele Experience Centre, Edinburgh.
The August event’s Seven Course Wine Pairing Tasting Menu promises a feast of international flavours curated by the renowned chef as part of an “unforgettable dining experience.”
In addition to his role at Loch Lomond’s Cameron House, Wadke owns a sustainable Asian food outlet called Rohan’s Kitchen, in Glasgow. He has also worked with the Gilpin Hotel & Lake House, Windermere, where he opened a new concept called Gilpin Spice. The Gilpin landed a total of four AA Rosettes and a Michelin star during Wadke’s tenure.
Wadke, who has advised the Scottish Government on issues around hospitality and food sustainability, said of the Edinburgh Fringe event: “Sustainability is at the core of our menu, reflecting the diverse international flavours showcased at the Fringe while celebrating our heritage and culture. It’s a perfect blend of innovation and tradition that I can’t wait to share with everyone at the festival.”
