Preston-based marketing communications firm Freshfield has opened a second office, at Hardman Street in Manchester’s Spinningfields.

The company, which employs 20 staff, has also unveiled a new brand identity and website.

Managing director Simon Turner said: “We’ve always had a strong Manchester client community and it continues to grow. As we spend more time in the city, it makes the opening of a Manchester hub a logical step. We’re in a great part of the city.

“This is an investment into our infrastructure. It will enable us to be closer to our Manchester client community, create new opportunities and support talent recruitment and retention, while allowing us to foster closer relationships with key learning networks and peers.

“Manchester continues to evolve as a global commercial and creative marketing destination and our team is excited to have that physical presence in the city.

“It’s an exciting time for the business. We continue to embrace modern marketing and have invested to give clients access to a full range of tools that can make a tangible difference to their brand and business.

“As our own proposition and story has evolved, we felt it was important to take a step back and create a new brand identity and website that represented a developing Freshfield.”

Freshfield has a turnover of £1.25m and divisions in advisory, PR & communications, digital and design.

It has sector teams in advanced industries, education, healthcare, leisure, property, professional services and public sector.

Current Manchester clients include developer Mulbury, Calderpeel Architects, Birchall Blackburn Solicitors, Croft Transport Planning & Design, and Primas Law.
