Manchester United have agreed a sponsorship deal with luxury designer footwear brand, Heroes.
The Old Trafford club has agreed a “multi-year global partnership” with the Milan-based business, which was launched last year.
As part of the deal, Heroes will exclusively produce a collection of high quality lifestyle Manchester United shoes and first team players and coaches will wear the brand’s formal shoes when on official club duty.
Manchester United Group managing director Richard Arnold said: “Our partnership with Heroes will not only provide our first team squad with well-designed and well-made formal shoes, it will also allow our loyal fan base to be included in that team spirit by wearing the same brand worn by our players.
“As a new and innovative luxury brand, Heroes has the ability to offer our fans original and exciting products that will allow them to express their support for the club in ways they haven’t been able to before.”
Alfredo D’Acchioli, chairman of the supervisory board of German company Da Vinci Luxury AG, the parent company of Heroes, said: “Our partnership with Manchester United is a dream come true and we are thrilled to be working with the world renowned sports club.”
