Manchester queue-jumping app Viper is expanding to other UK cities and launching a dedicated PR and marketing division.
The new department will be based in Manchester city centre and employ three staff. Meanwhile, the app is looking to launch in Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham and London.
The app was founded in 2017 by Craig Davies, Craig Gidley and Stephen Powell and works with some of Manchester’s best-known bars, including Manahatta, Cloud 23, Foodwell, KAI, Dirty Martini and Impossible.
Users are able to upgrade to VIP, queue jump and purchase drinks packages in real time via their mobile phone.
Davies said: “When we launched Viper here in Manchester two years ago, we had spotted a real gap in the market, something that provided a premium service for users, a revolutionary way to experience a night out.
“We’re incredibly proud of everything we have built up since then and have expanded our remit within the realms of PR and marketing.”
Powell added: “With such a successful business model in place, we are keen to start thinking about ways we can expand this into other cities and welcome conversations with potential investors.
“We have proven that Viper is a sustainable business model that provides the bars we work with incredible PR and marketing support, establishing them as go-to destinations.”
