Burnley-based Door4 has reported a 33% increase in turnover as the North West performance marketing agency moves into profit.

The firm says it’s planning further growth in 2022, including a new Manchester office to accommodate its expanding team.

“It’s brilliant to see the growth our team have achieved together over the past 12 months,” said Leon Calverley, founder and Strategy Director at Door4.

“Despite the challenges posed by uncertain times, we were determined to push forward with our ambitious plans.

“As we specialise in helping businesses reach and convert more customers, to scale their business to achieve its full potential, it’s only right that we do the same for ourselves. No cobbler’s shoes here.”

The firm saw its net profit increase by £285k (up 249% from the previous year’s loss) and it has also recruited 7 new staff, with 3 more set to arrive at the start of this year.

“The key to our recent success has, and continues to be, our investment in talent. This comes through both finding great people to help us in our mission – but also training and supporting our teams’ individual growth,” stated Sean Dwyer, Managing Director at Door4.

Door4 said that in the last 12 months it has almost doubled the number of businesses it works with. 80% of its clients are on a long-term retained basis, which is up 30% on the previous year.
