Former Manchester City marketing director, Jeff Howarth, has joined Liverpool-headquartered Matalan in the same role.
Howarth, who lives in Cheshire, had been with the Premier League champions since March 2017.
Prior to that the Manchester University graduate was Group Marketing and Customer Director for Manchester Airports Group and has also worked for JD Sports and the Co-op.
Matalan’s Head Office is on the Knowsley Industrial Park in Liverpool.
