Manchester agency wins LG Electronics account


LG Electronics has appointed AgencyGMR to manage its UK social media presence in the UK.

AgencyGMR is the spin-off of By Gamers for Gamers and it will manage and create social media content across all the LGE UK social channels, as well as working on brand activations and campaigns.

“Having worked with the LG team on previous campaigns, we’re excited to now be working more closely as an extension of the in-house teams on their social channels,” explained AgencyGMR’s Head of Partnerships, Roddy Burns.

“We’re already planning some exciting campaigns and activity before the end of the year, looking for new creative ways to engage audiences on the channels and provide real consumer value.”

One focus will be TikTok, with AgencyGMR aiming to provide insight-led social media strategies and campaigns through paid and organic activity.

“LG is a household name and one of the biggest brands in the consumer electronics category. The team has dedicated a lot of time fostering the relationship with the LG team over the past year and it’s great to see this all starting to come to life,” added AgencyGMR’s Managing Director, Craig Kirkcaldy.
