MadeByShape gains 110 clients through goodwill acquisition of Forte Trinity

MadeByShape is expanding

Manchester digital agency MadeByShape has completed an acquisition of goodwill for the clients of Leigh-based website designer and SEO specialist Forte Trinity, doubling its current client base in the process.

The move will see MadeByShape take on an extra 110 clients in the North West bringing in an additional £71,000 profit to the business. The agency will not need to grow the team initially as it says it will handle the new work through streamlining its business model and maximising the efficiency of hybrid working and technology.

MadeByShape predicts that the new clients could add as much as £1 million to their collective bottom line thanks to its digital communications and web expertise.

Andy Golpys, co-founder and director of MadeByShape, said: “This opportunity will help us enormously in growing our profits without having to invest in additional resource to service the business. We have a huge opportunity to grow these new clients organically by upselling our existing services such as brand development, website design and development, and SEO which is very exciting for the team.”

MadeByShape has seen a 120 per cent uplift in new website instructions since the start of 2022, signifying a strong business recovery across the North West region and beyond. Over the last 12 months, it has also added 150 new clients, which translates to growth of 150 per cent. The company recently reported a 36 per cent increase in turnover and a 28 per cent increase in net profit compared to the previous year.

MadeByShape was founded in 2010 by Golpys and Jason Mayo. It employs a team of 17 across brand development, web design, web development, SEO and content writing. It works with businesses of all sizes across the world, from start-ups to global organisations such as the NHS, L’Occitane and 20th Century Fox.
