LNER announced as Leeds 2024 UK Corporate Games main sponsor

Rail operator LNER has been announced as headline sponsor of the 2024 UK Corporate Games, which take place in Leeds from Thursday July 25.

The Corporate Games will feature over 20 sports, including Dragon Boat Racing, Netball, Tennis, Padel, Cycling, Karting and more. The diverse range of sports ensures that there is something for everyone, catering to both experienced athletes and those new to a particular sport or event. The UK Corporate Games will see thousands of competitors from small and large organisations across all business sectors take part. It gives businesses the opportunity to integrate and engage employees, network, address CSR strategies and raise brand awareness. The Games are designed to be inclusive and open to all for the benefit of all, it is the perfect event for organisations to put staff welfare at the top of their agenda’s.

LNER has joined forces with the UK Corporate Games to increase brand visibility and “showcase its commitment to connecting communities through convenient and sustainable travel.” Competing companies and business representatives will be offered a 25% discount on train travel should they be taking part. The discount has been made possible via a partnership between LNER and ConferenceLeeds, which enables the UK Corporate Games to offer a unique business event delegate rail promotional code upon booking.

The Games are estimated to be worth over £2m to the city of Leeds, benefitting local businesses and the wider community. The event also serves as an opportunity for local businesses to get involved, showcase their products or services, and build valuable connections.

The weekend of the UK Corporate Games in Leeds also promises a combination of competitions, celebrations, and networking opportunities. There will also be a Games Welcome Festival on Friday July 26, featuring a grand parade of athletes, live music, street food, and a tennis ball hit-out giveaway.
